Next Steps, Advice Encouraged

Hi WSO

I am looking to take a leap into a new firm, and I would like to do M&A. I am currently in an ECM IB role in NYC at a smaller shop (anon), and I wanted to get more hands-on experience in M&A. I have 7/63 and almost there with my 79, about 6/7 months into role with current place. I can provide further info if needed.

I would like to break into a shop, doesn't need to be EB, just something where I could get some good experience and not struggle to make ends meet. Any shop suggestions? I would like some recommendations and tips on networking, since I am striking out on cold outreach at the moment.

Thank you for the help!
