Hey! Happy to see that you are interested in IB. Given that you have some work experience, I would have proposed to get an MBA and recruit for IB there. As I checked your history, it seems that you did your MBA already and thus it would be hard to explain doing a second one. I would be honest, it would be hard to break into IB, outside the MBA recruitment process. Here are some thoughts:

  • Big Fours have TS teams that might be easier to join as a lateral hire. Check some job postings there. How about you start studying towards your CFA qualification?
  • In addition to TS, overall, Big fours can accelerate your career since they offer very good exit opportunities. Try to talk to any people you know that they work there. 
  • Do you need to break into IB? How about you try to climb the corporate ladder?
