bump
One of the worst teams in terms of dealflow at the bank, along with FIG in London
Honest question as I accepted an offer at another bank:
How frequent is the turnover at Nomura IBD? I didn't feel a good vibe from their IBD desk and I didn't want to constantly be pitching bake offs that don't go anywhere.
Am surprised also why FIG is so bad at Nomura despite their sizeable balance sheet: why is that the case?
Shit seniors
They don’t have a balance sheet
Any improvement expected from the new hires? How is headcount looking for the upcoming year?
a lot of churn as expected in banking, more so to banks though. Buyside exits are more from the GII or LevFin desk side, to infra pe / pc respectively
