Nomura Quant FT - 2 Weeks Post-ED Interviews - Ghosted?

Looking for some insight on the FT process at Nomura for a quant role.

Situation: I'm in the running for the 2026 Global Markets Full-Time Analyst Program in NYC. The process has been strange, skipped all the usual HR/campus screens and went straight to video interviews with two different EDs .

  • 2 Weeks Ago: Had the second interview with the senior ED
  • Last Week: The job posting was pulled from their career site.
  • Yesterday: Sent a follow-up email, no response yet.

Question: I'm trying to read the tea leaves here. The direct-to-ED interviews and pre-interview compliance form felt like strong positive signals. But now it's been two weeks of complete silence.

Is this a soft rejection, am I waiting for a final round with an MD, or is this just standard BB bureaucracy at its finest? My experience with prop shops has been way faster, so not sure what to make of this.

Any color on Nomura's quant hiring process would be much appreciated.
