Bear with me here. I have an upcoming second round lateral interview with an MD. It's over Zoom and am curious about what I should wear? I wore a suit and tie during the first round, but felt that was overdressed because the mid-level guy interviewing me was in a sweater.
If this was a superday then I would obviously wear a suit and tie, but should I dial it back for the second round or was the first round guy just underdressed?

Collared dress shirt and jacket and you can’t go wrong. Maybe vest instead of jacket if the team is known to be chill.
