Non-Traditional Deal Experience For Lateralling?

Looking for advice. Current An1 at a small boutique in NYC. I started as a full-time analyst a while back, and my firm rarely does M&A deals contrary to what I was told.

Most deals are CM-related: mm restructruing deals, structured equity capital raises, recaps, and other niche financing transactions.

I've definetly gotten technical model cred, but I'm worried about how my profile will be perceived. It doesn't feel like I'm working on traditional banking transactions.
