Not getting a JP Morgan full time offer, contemplating my next steps

I've just graduated with a MSc in Finance and I am currently in the final steps of an internship in corporate banking at JP Morgan. I was just told that I will not be offered a full time position and I have mixed feelings.

On one hand, fuck corporate banking. It's a generalist department with no specialization to any product of the bank, so you are basically a middle man who knows a bit about everything. On a senior level it's attractive because of the calmer hours and relatively well pay, but on a junior level it's boring/less stimulating than other positions, with less exit oportunities down the line. So this could be a blessing in disguise to move on to something better.

On the other hand, it could provide value especially working on the midcap side as a junior, as you get more technical exposure. This could lead to better exit opportunities down the line. Moreover, it is always beneficial to be in the JP Morgan CIB ecosystem.

Not sure what my best move is right now. I am leaning towards private credit if the opportunity presents itself, I think that is an attractive route especially because of the lending exposure in corporate banking.

Am I cooked?
