i have two offers at the moment…one with a bank and another with a real estate private equity firm. the bank is based on the west coast and the repe firm is in the south, i’m torn as to which one i should take and i was wondering if anyone has been in a similar boat before or has any insights as to how i should approach this. thank you so much!

Completely depends on what you want to do long term and the offers from both firms. I would consider exit opportunities, compensation, responsibilities, and firm reputation for both shops as well. Ultimately, if you want to do RE long term, take the RE offer, and vice versa.
