ONE STRATEGY GROUP
Banking sits quietly at the center of modern economic life, shaping how money moves, grows, and absorbs risk. At its core, banking is about trust: depositors trust institutions with their savings, while borrowers rely on banks to fund ideas that outgrow personal capital. Over time, banks have evolved from simple lenders into complex intermediaries, balancing regulation, profitability, and systemic stability. They price risk, allocate capital, and provide liquidity in moments when markets hesitate. Yet banking is not purely mechanical. Decisions reflect human judgment, incentives, and sometimes error, which is why oversight matters. When done well, banking supports entrepreneurship, smooths economic cycles, and connects households to opportunity. When done poorly, it can amplify shocks. Its quiet influence makes it both essential and endlessly debated.
Dont hate the player, hate the game. The information is free and out there, some people just pay to have dedicated guidance, advice, etc.
It’s no different than being tapped into your schools respective sweaty circle with dedicated mentorship, they’re just paying for it.
With that said, if anyone needs a tutor, incoming EB/BB Analyst with numerous resources that overlap with OSG. Paid hourly and will help you get interview ready. PM me.
i need ur help!
Pretty much all top US colleges have kids using this...
Bros larping like he’s in charge of recruiting on one post and reveals he’s a sophomore on the next. Stop stalking people on LinkedIn and focus on urself
Least obvious OSG user
Didn’t use any programs like that, just tired of seeing ur dumbass low effort posts on my feed
From what I've heard lots of Point72 offer holders use it.
just let the fobs scam their own lol. their conversion rate is like a fraction of the clubs at my semi-target
Chinese intl student who didn't hire OSG and went to any of the school clubs
What I can see is : high price (which a certain bonus if a OSG kid refers the services to a new kid, probably 10k more or less), large amount of student base (Chinese international background, for instance, Chinese intl, raised in China but with PR or US citizenship, I even knew one sg kid who's parent was Chinese immigrant and got offer from MS).
They would target kids with good background (good hs or good college) and their advertisement is really appealing. 90-95% of Chinese internationals recruiting for IBD has some recruiting agency like OSG or something similar. Gonna say their service is fantastic but all depends on how proactive you are and what schools you went to. If you go to top 10 or IVY, they would put more efforts on you and that's how the P72 from Wharton got his offer. But if you came from a low target, semi or even non target, as long as you're passionate enough they will be helping you immensely (like interview prep, knowledge prep from finance 101 to high level tech/industry insights, and all sorts of stuff)
I heavily dislike them because of their advertisement (show up in my social media and my WeChat page 5 times daily) and how they only cares about having new clients and profitability. I guess at least half of OSG kids have PR or US passport but OSG persuaded the rest to indicate they don't need sponsorship for application, especially now when Trump created chaos on visa policies. Some may be smart enough to follow the truth but I knew 1. someone went SA for a MM and got offer revoked because the bank found that he don't have PR or citizenship at all 2. A friend of mine - I persuaded him 3 times not doing so - but he still ended up putting "I don't need sponsorship" when he applied to all the EB and BB. imo this is really effortless cuz by the time they check your status you'll be cooked, and at least today there're still many EB and BBs favorable to intl students. OSG only cares about the offer they received from the students they tutored, have it as an ad for future promotion, and they don't gaf if you gonna intern there or not. Again, I heavily dislike OSG and encouraged all my friends (class of 29/30) to explore the field on their own instead of hiring an agency straight out of hs when you have no idea how the game is played.
Have at least 20 of my friends who went to OSG for tutoring (some are my hs/college friends, and also had some simply because they went to OSG - I can learn a lot from their previous experience). But non of them really had the chance to "get connections" from OSG. They also networked as hard af so it's not true if OSG made them cheating or whatever, but sometimes I just felt things are really unequal. They are just a REALLY SUPPORTIVE SCHOOL INVESTMENT CLUB BUT HEAVILY PRICED. But if you made the effort you'll likely to land something.
