Overview of REGAL / REIB

Looking for an overview of REGAL / REIB...

Could someone share insight to what exactly it consists of... seems through reading a few threads that it is unique and in a way separated from other IB groups. Seems that most people who go into it have a deep interest in RE.

Could anyone speak to how true this? In addition, what does the current industry look like (how crippling are the fed rate hikes to deal flow)? Does the total comp differ significantly from other groups in IB? Is the culture of the group typically different from others in terms of WLB or anything else? What are common exits, and how are they as exits (comp, wlb, career progression)?

Would really appreciate anyones' and everyones' insights to the groups.
