Paris Analyst Compensation
I found old threads stating that BBs in Paris have a higher base than London, some saying it's around 90k + 50-100% bonus. While EBs and French Banks (BNP, SocGen) tend to be lower at 65k base with a lower % bonus.
Can anyone confirm what the actual figures are like today for Junior Analysts in Paris? For BBs, EBs and French Banks (Base+Bonus).
For An1 BBs and EBs base is 85-90k. Total comp in a normal market reaches 130-150k (with "intéressement"). Not sure about French banks but would expect much lower.
okay thanks! and how are the working hours like in Paris?
Was an intern at an EB in Paris. Consistant 2am, strong face time culture, seniors shouting at juniors in the middle of the floor. French culture at its finest. At a BB in London now and imo it is less intense albeit it’s a down market
So is total comp higher than in London? It sounds like it is
It definitely is and that pissed me off. Loads wanna go back to continental europe bc of that. People in madrid also get paid the same for a mech less cost of living
Yeah plus the COL is lower in continental Europe compared to London. Meaning you can definitely save more. Do you how much income tax % you'd pay in Paris on such a salary?
Lmao man what are you talking about? Madrid doesn’t pay the same at all.
Pay there is even worse than Italy’s.
We all got London'd my dudes
Who cares
bump
JPM Paris AN1 is 80 base and 10 increase each year
