Paris vs London IB Analyst
Trying to see what s better between IB analyst London and Paris, and I’m torn on the long-term math.
On one hand, paris seems like a no-brainer for lifestyle/finance metrics early on. Rent is noticeably cheaper than London, and with the post-Brexit comp bumps, you actually get to save some money.
On the other hand, london is London. The deal flow, the network, and the volume of opportunities. My long-term goal is to transition to a Gulf Sovereign Wealth Fund (Mubadala, ADIA, PIF, etc.)
Does starting in Paris hurt my chances for Middle East SWF exits, or does London still hold a massive monopoly on those headhunter tracks? Which route would you pick?
