Path to IB is falling short....

I am currently a senior at a semi target in NYC. Due to personal physical issues my GPA fell to a 1.9 (2.0 rounding). I did two finance internships one in a small investment management firm and one as a financial advisor for a small business owner. Besides that I have other leadership experiences that are somewhat worthy. I am not sure what to do anymore. There are no prospect about recruiting at our school yet. I have been sending emails and all analyst classes are full. I am close to graduating this summer with nothing. Anyone have any ideas of what to do before I enter the semester session?

Some hope would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks for reading everyone!

Full time recruiting is done for the year. Do you have any close connections at smaller/ regional investment banks? If not, my advice would be to leverage your contacts to get a position at a firm that has a close connection to banking as possible (offer to work unpaid if necessary). Essentially, on campus recruiting would be difficult or nearly impossible given your low GPA, so now, its all up to your contacts.
