Pay increases at BBs
BofA and CS increased pay for junior bankers. However, I accepted an offer to another BB. Do you think other BBs will follow suit with the pay increases? Any VPs/directors at BBs who might know if this might happen?
Yes, all other non GS BBs will probably follow.
Do you think top MMs like Jefferies/HL will increase too. Im' incoming at one of those and would be nice

I think GS/MS & EVR + the other EB's will all do increases. But I believe it's a game of chicken where the EB's are waiting for all the BB raises & then plan on one-upping them. Which is why it's taken so long for GS/MS/EB firms to raise compensation.
