Perfect ACT Score help for getting interviews?
Got a perfect ACT score in high school. Really helped me in college admissions and I’m just curious how much of an effect it has on IB apps.

I mean a lot of companies ask applicants to put their standardized scores on their resume(I know HSBC even asks for HS records.) The only time I think a 36 would stand out is if you attend a very lowly ranked college or state school.
So if I go to a state school (think UVA, UT, UMICH) it’s beneficial?
Maybe at the margins. Those are all pretty much targets though, so probably not as important.

I mean a lot of people get into top schools without perfect stats, so I guess it would help. Lots of finance companies just want people who will do the work (ALL the work) and do the work well. Someone who could achieve a perfect score probably shows that they can do the work, which is why I think it may help. I may be wrong.
