Trying to get perspective from on 3 year analyst programs. Why do some of the banks do 2 years as opposed to 3? As an An2 if I were to lateral from a bank with a 3 year program to another bank with a 2 year program…how is this usually handled?

Yeah I know of many who recruited and left after making associate. Extra year of reps and deal experience
Good to know. Have not decided if I want to go the PE route yet and having extra time to develop and think it through is nice.
