Phone Call with BB MD

I cold LinkedIn messaged an MD at a BB. He agreed to have a coffee chat with me next week regarding IB and how to break into the industry. Any specific questions I should ask him? Thank you in advance.

You need to be EXTREMELY careful talking to an MD, I've had some nightmare experiences with going right to the MD level- if they ask you a technical questions bc they feel like it all of the sudden and bc they can, and you cant answer it they will forget about you and there is zero chance getting into that group bc he will remember you (they meet very few people). Have everything down in terms of technicals (its unlikely that an MD would even ask a question but you cant fuck it up)- haha maybe I just had one bad experience though

Anyways, I would ask them their story and all that normal crap (why did you choose x bank, etc.) Iv'e had the best conversations with MDs when I truly understand his industry, like Healthcare for example- research the entire industry (what makes it tick), what deals the bank has done, and speak to them in great detail (literally spend a night or two researching everything) if you talk to an MD like this they will be stunned, bc they are used to many privileged kids who get in an dont know shit about the actual industry and banking wallet share and things that an MD has to think about. Good luck
