Please Help Me Choose Offers Thanks!

I’m still deciding my summer analyst offers between Oppenheimer and Santander Bank. Both are NY offices. Any suggestions or insights would be really appreciated! My ultimate plan is to get a good summer experience and potentially recruit for full time position...
Thanks in advance

Group dependent I would say. If either is M&A, I would probably go with that.

Oppenheimer HC and Tech are their best coverage teams, both are pretty ECM heavy. I believe Tech has a bit more M&A, but I think this would mostly fall on the west coast team.

I have rarely ran into Santander so cannot speak on their teams.

I am not too familiar with comp. I work at an MM that does some work with them.

I’ve socialized with a few analysts there and from what I understand placement is selected around the end of training by each group. As far as comp goes, I heard some analysts complain salary is a bit below street, but bonuses make up for that. Placement and comp info was all heard in a social setting, my apologies if inaccurate.

I think Santander was one of the only banks to fully cancel their SA in 2020 (maybe just London)
