positioning myself to work in asia - IBD/AM/

with all the hype surrounding the rise of activity in asia, and that im an asian american anyway, im wondering how to best position myself for a job/career in SE asia (hk, china, south korea, japan)

currently attending a semi target undergrad (in the U.S.), rising jr. what would be a possible scenario to go to asia after my undergrad? maybe even after grad school? possibility of attending an asian grad school?

growing up in an asian family i know that name/brand plays a HUGE part in anything. im wondering if the same concept applies when it comes to recruiting in asia. so would a pwm position at a top bb in america (or another top name asians would recognize) be better or a more respected position at a boutique (better exp, but less chance of asians knowing the name brand).

name over exp? or exp or name? SPECIFICALLY for brekaing into ibd/am opportunities in asia.
