PowerPoint Tips/Resources?

Hi everyone, I'm currently an incoming IB summer analyst in the M&A group and was wondering if anyone had any tips or resources that will help me improve my PowerPoint skills. I'm pretty comfy in excel but a few of the analysts at the firm have told me that most of the work I'll be doing will be in PowerPoint. I just want to make sure I have somewhat of an idea of what I'm doing in PowerPoint before I get there, which is in a few weeks. Thanks!

I would say the easiest and best tip is to set up and really leverage your Quick Access Toolbar (QAT). The QAT can turn what would’ve taken 5-6 key strokes into 2-3. The absolute most important function to have at the “Alt + 1” is Arrange objects. Instead of hitting 7 keys to align right, it’s now “ Alt + 1 + R”. After that, it comes down to what you use a lot and would benefit most from (size shape, shape fill, border width, eye dropper, etc.). After that, I would recommend you go look up investor presentation decks, and then try to re-build a few of them from scratch to get a feel for it.
