Quick question but not sure where to post this:
Currently prepping for the 79 using Knopman materials. Can we realistically pass just by watching their videos, taking notes and doing a shit ton of practice Q's, or is it necessary to read the textbook in its entirety? I'm wondering this because I managed to pass the SIE exam just by watching their videos, doing their exams and only reading the sections of the textbook that I needed to work on. However I've heard that the 79 is significantly harder so I'm considering grinding through the textbook in addition to the videos and class summaries.

I personally read the book, which I felt was extremely useful, but I mostly skimmed it. I dont think it’s a good idea to spend countless hours reading it, but looking at the Main Points and taking the quiz questions is a good idea. Made sure to take one full day to just take each exam and I passed.
I would skip the videos and read the book (since you can read faster than the narrator can speak), however the videos and book should be roughly equivalent. You don't NEED to do both.

Class summary. Read and repeat. I skimmed the book and only watched videos in sections I struggled with (on 1.5x speed). Class summary tho made it.
Read the book, then just practice questions and completed the test in 4 days.
