Probation Anxiety

Long time lurker posting for the first time. Recently joined a large institutional bank with the typical 6 month probation.

Had a couple of feedback sessions, first was pretty good but second was firmer on ‘repeated small mistakes’, mainly (what I feel to be) very minor formatting on the decks I’ve worked on and I’ve been told this has been causing review burden on the team.

Halfway through probation - as expected I adhered to the consensus of face time by slugging it out with the team through nights, weekends, etc. haven’t made any egregious mistakes. But the anxiety of making a mistake that might affect my probation is causing more distress than the job itself.
