Public Finance Hours?
Incoming at a BB this summer on the public finance team. Would love to hear what hours are like for analysts across the street. Probably should have done more research, but there just isn't that much out there tbh.
Analysts typically work 60 - 70 hours. Healthcare, Project Finance, and “sweaty” teams work on the high end (or longer). Some teams may be slightly below 60 hours if they are lucky.
As an intern, I’d expect ~60 hours

Firm dependent, as an associate at a MM, I’m averaging about 50.

Just to note - public finance bonuses are not M&A bonuses … less hours = less $ in this case
Interned in pub fin at a BB a couple years ago and worked 8:30-7:30 M-F. Can be group dependent though – know interns that worked more like 9-11 or later (especially if healthcare).
