Macquarie’s Infra group is incredibly hard to break into without the right background. Good luck getting the offer with a non-target background and no summer internship.

Yes. You probably aren’t making it to a MF directly from Scotia but I have seen people make it to MM Infra PE funds. A good friend of mine exited to a Energy Transition PE fund in Stamford/Greenwich after 2 years at the bank.
