Does anyone have any tips on pulling metrics from SEC fillings more efficiently? Right now I normally just pull them by hand or use BamSEC but I feel like there has to be an easier way. Looking specifically for metrics like same store sales or other KPIs.

Do you have Bloomberg or Factset? Often times they have industry specific measures and with the plug in its easy to pull it straight to excel.
