Just heard from my roommate that PWP had layoffs on the first day interns hit the desk. Bold move if true.

This is a firm that cut 40% of its intern class in a bull market. Incomers know what they’re getting into

In my graduate class in 2010 (Tier 2- BB), 6 out of 60 grads were fired the day after the end of the training. 15 more 1 month later. After 12 months, we were only c20 left.
So, lol abt the interns. It's not like they fired the interns. That would have been a bold move.

But they decided the 6 to lay off among the 60 grads based on ranking in training lol.
