Knew someone who worked there - would avoid. Brutal sweatshop with insane hours no wlb, think he worked 110h for 2-3 weeks straight. Pay is good but you are trapped into a MM sweatshop whilst Saas esp EU Saas is dead in the water and there are not many EU AI companies.

Try to get BB EB Tech M&A honestly for the sake of your career.

iirc last year’s cycle kicked off 1Rs in early/mid Sept as usual but i think that Dartmouth run the process so would expect at least 3-4 rounds

also not entirely relevant but do agree with the above comment that Q is not as dominant in EMEA. Then again it is SA so really just take what you can get haha

yea bro these comments about how qatalyst isnt actually that dominant and try to get some other dominant group are ridiculous like last I checked you don't get to chose you pray that at least one takes you. Or maybe I'm not as cracked as the rest of these guys who get 5-6 offers a cycle and get to pick.

OP above - yeah sorry my bad if it came across as arrogant esp if it's moreso about just taking a SA

My reasoning was focussed on your longer term career and wanted to provide some insight as to avoiding the US-centric reasoning on certain firms which does not translate across the pond. I do believe however if you can get a Qatalyst offer I'm more than sure you can get a better EB BB offer since there are many seats and once you get an interview you have a solid chance.

Are first round interview invites out? What profiles they are looking at?
