Question about MBA IB associate recruiting/hiring
Hey everyone,
Quick question: How do firms know how old you are when you go through the recruiting/hiring process for an IB associate out of a two-year MBA program? Do they just base your age off when you graduated from your undergrad program? Thanks!

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
I don't think the banks care too much about associate age, more the work experience you had (plus most people in an MBA are at an appropriate age for what they would consider). But if they wanted to guess your age that's probably what they'd go off of.
When I recruited we had some veterans who were in their mid 30s, and people who only did 2-3 years before doing their MBA - it generally wasn't an issue.
