Questions about summer internships for college sophomore year
Hey all,
I recently got accepted to the McIntire School of Commerce at UVA for their BS in Commerce degree. I'm a sophomore currently, and I want to intern somewhere this summer before starting at McIntire to help me for next year's summer recruitment. However, I've been applying to tons of internships on LinkedIn with no luck. Is it normal for sophomores to not have internships? Will the McIntire brand name help me land internships in junior year without an internship in my sophomore year? Also I'm an international student, I don't know if that changes the answer to any of the above questions.
