I gave my 2 weeks notice 16 days ago (funnily enough LinkedIn suggested me to apply to the Analyst posting my bank created last week to replace my departure LOL), because I just didn't have enough time to conduct proper research on industries & companies I'm interested in. I want to leave banking&finance too. Don't expect to find a job days after you quit, it takes some time, so it is good to have some savings to eat in in the meanwhile.

I brainstormed to discover what my passions are. For me, it was sports. I was never extremely good at it but I enjoy watching it a lot. Did some research for the business side of sports (the area is huge: athlete management, sponsorship management, e-sports, management of clubs, etc.). Utilized LinkedIn to find Alum working in the space. Networked with them and now got into the process of 2 firms. As I said, it is a slow process don't expect to get a job overnight.
