Rank / Evaluate Comms and Media Groups? Exit Opps?

(Edit: Exact rank / list doesn’t matter, more curious about individual evaluation / whether it’s good or not specifically Barclays CMG) Im interested in media and telecom more than TMT and don't wanna be in a pure sweatshop Tmt group driven by deal flow or majority deal flow in tech. I think JPM, Evercore are supposed to be really good for CMG (and accordingly sweaty). Liontree and Allen and Co. plus CVP are on some good mandates I've seen and are on a good amount of large cap M&A. I'm pretty familiar with these as far as exits / culture go.Dont care as much about cap raising (know every good BB is on all the big stuff)- how's M&A across other BB's? Only other BB I know of that has a CMG group is Barclays and the group was really strong in Lehman days (how relevant is that for exit opps nowadays? Should mean 0 right?) and is supposed to have a really good culture but post covid I don't think anywhere has a good WLB/culture anymore. Wondering what deal flow / exit opps are like for an analystNot too versed on JEF but they're the only other group I believe has a CMG group. I don't know what to assume culture WLB or exit wise, but also not as interested as JEF is not really in the running for me but thought I'd include.

Boutique isn't a bad way to go if your interest is specific. Take a look at Shot Tower in Baltimore. Lean shop, strong industry relationships, somewhat low-velocity shop that rakes in fees amongst their lower headcount.
