Real Estate Investment Banking
A little background about me: I am a 2nd year investment analyst, I did my first rotation in Private credit and then I pivoted in to Commercial Mortgage Lending. I really started enjoying CRE. But from lending I think it's too boring. I want to learn it from the very beginning. I want to start over and start in real estate investment banking. I think I can get a lot of experience from there and then if I want to pivot later in lending I will be more prepared and more skilled. I honestly don't know how to connect with folks into investment banking.
I really just need some advice. I don't really who to email and what to email, I am just interested in Real Estate IB as a whole and I just want someone to give me an opportunity.
Please if anyone has real advice, you can roast me all you want, I accept tough love.
