Recruiting for Gigs NOW - Advice?

Hey guys, I am trying to look for other gigs in investment banking in the lower middle market, preferably as high as I can but I am trying to be realistic that I might be S.O.L. for UMM, EB, etc. I have 7/63/79, a good bit of experience, strong soft skills, and work ethic second to none. Any suggestions on reaching out to recruiters, where to even find places to contact, cold outreach if it's even worth it, etc?
I was told by a wise man that the analysts are just starting so my timing is shitty, and that's a blow to the confidence because I am at a current role in NYC that I am just not a fan of whatsoever. I can provide more detail if needed, just looking for tips and advice on how to shift to a separate bank.
