Regional IB Offices for PE
I'm a history and engineering major (current sophomore) at a target with the eventual goal of working in private equity, and would like to move away from the east coast after school for lifestyle preference reasons. What regional offices should I be looking at to best set me up for PE? I am open to returning to NYC after banking, but would like to experience something different in a new city for a few years, preferably with better weather lol. Thanks!
If you want to go to CA (definitely the best weather), take a look at MS SF Tech, GS SF TMT, and BAML SF Sponsors, and if you're not a fan of the Bay, Moelis LA, Credit Suisse LA, and Barclays LA would provide mostly the same caliber of PE opportunities.
