Rejected ... Accepted !!!

So, I'm the poly sci and econ McGill major, who got rejected by Barclays and JPM last week. Apparently, i was too artsy for them. This week, however, I got an offer from the same Barclays! I am so confused, but am stoked! Before I embark on my journey into the hells of finance, I would also like to apologize for having sounded arrogant in my previous post. I was just simply in a bad mood. Cheers, and good luck!

SlikRickHaha, I remember reading this thread the other day. Congrats on the offer! Perhaps a few spots opened up. In the mean time, definitely brush up on your econometrics, it's essential for IB, haha, jk.

UFOinsiderHiring is one funny looking dude away from a clown car. Who the hell knows why some people get jobs. Congrats man!

That is true. Sometimes it just depends on the mood of your interviewer on that particular day. Sucks, but what can you do.
