In this economy everyone is struggling. Full time offers outside of summer applicant pools are going to be tough to get (if they are available). I recommend casting a very wide net in terms of the banks you apply to. Also, make sure you apply to some back ups (outside of i-banking) just in case.

To prove that you are qualified even though you did not get a SA position, you had to have done something really unique this summer. That and you have to have really good contacts who are pulling for you. If it were me, I would look at the internship that I had instead and I would try to explain that even though I was rejected for a SA position (only bring it up if they do in an interview) that I learned certain skills (team work, attention to detail etc) that can translate well into banking. If you can convince them through examples, I think that is the best you could do outside of actually having an i banking experience. Good luck.

Getting rejected from SA probably isn't too much of a factor. If they're interviewing you again they're willing to give you another chance, so take it at face value. The fact is that some people just did not hire SAs or are just in general harder for SA than FT. Also, if you got an internship then you have at least a slightly better resume now than you did then right?

I posted kind of the same question. However, I have a FT offer somewhere else, but am thinking to try to go for a internship at the BB again since it is easier then the FT and I know they are hiring very very few FT this recruiting season. Any idea how they would handle a graduate applying for an internship altough he is working FT already for 5 months or sth? Got rejected at the AC, but without strong negative feedback, so they said it's not that big of a deal if I reapply.
