Research - Type of research I should look into?
I'm in a program at my school where I am required to work with a professor on academic research of some kind. If I need to do this, I figure I might as well find a topic of research that will benefit me in the future. Does anyone have any ideas what type of research I should look into? My dream career is the same as most of yours, so if you had to find a professor (at a target with a bschool) to work with, what research would they be working on in an ideal world?
The program's scope is pretty simple. We do research of any kind (for example, last year I worked in a cancer lab). I'd rather not discuss what we get in return.
Thanks for your thoughts.
lol, 'make research' to 'benefit your job prospects'. Dude, do you even know what original research is?
You research something which is difficult in order to find new answers. If you have no quantitative skills than just GTFO.
Research can actually be useful and help you a lot if you do it properly. What's the context though - the objective of the program, the assignment, etc.?
