I’m currently a first year analyst and have headhunters reaching out to me. I didn’t respond to most because (and I know this is shocking) I actually quite enjoy my first year so far and would like to wait a year for more deal experience (at a non-elite boutique) before trying my hand at the process. But the head hunter for the growth equity shop I’m aiming for contacted me. What’s the best way to respond to say I want to wait a year?
