its very difficult to get you actual rankings for RX through league tables as they are misleading. They don’t account for out of court transactions which is very important.

rankings at the top mirrors the US to an extent:

  1. PJT is by far no.1 based on pay, experience, reputation and exits into DD/SS/Credit. work on all the high profile mandates on the debtor side (recent deals include Adler, Cineworld, Lycra) and are quite selective of what deals to work on. Pay is also top of the street for banking in London (not rx specific). decent culture
  2. they are followed by HL which has great experience but is more of a volume shop. They do mostly creditor mandates and are known to be a sweatshop. Rx in general is sweaty but HL RX is a level above that. I think after the new pay raise they pay quite well now
  3. Then its a bit of a toss up between PWP/Moelis/Evercore/Lazard. cant go wrong with any of them but not on par with PJT/HL. I’d put Lazard/PWP above Evercore/Moelis in London

Important to note that there isn't as many big or high-profile bankruptcies or distressed situations in London and the UK compared to the US. Gleacher Shacklock have some presence too, they were involved in the Yorkshire Water case
