Okay, is it just me or does Rich Handler (@handlerrich on Instagram) have a little too much time on his hands? He's the CEO of Jefferies and the highest paid New York CEO, but still manages to follow over 20 finmeme accounts (out of the 76 total accounts he follows). He's an active follower too. In the past couple of weeks alone, he's left multiple comments on some of his favorite finmeme pages on Instagram:

Personally, I am a big fan of his involvement in the finmeme community, since his comments are often pretty funny and bring attention to memes that may have otherwise flown under the radar. I especially like when he claps back on trolls like an absolute savage. At the same time, however, I am curious as to what possess a 58 year old Wall Street executive to spend so much time joking around with 20 something year olds on Instagram. Is this his response to David Solomon's side hustle as a DJ? Is he a clout chaser trying to make us forget that he came from a non-target (Rochester)? Or is trying to cover up the fact that Jefferies is an absolute sweatshop?

A good friend of mine knows him personally and describes him as "a kid." He means this in a nice way. Says the dude is just a pretty chill guy who is pretty happy with life and embracing the wave of finmemes cus he was dealing with that stuff once too. Hard to believe he is allowing these bonus clawbacks if he is such a bro tho...
