In a few days I will have an interview in a market and counterparty risk team. I was told that there will be questions about risk modeling and analysis.
Does anyone know how to prepare for it? What concepts shall I expect to be asked in the interview?

Hi everyone,
Can anyone provide me with some insight as to what type of questions should be expected for a risk interview in a prime services team? What type of risk do they manage and how? What specific skills (apart from the generic) do they look for in an analyst? Should brainteasers be expected? Again, this is for a prime services group whose clients are mostly hedge funds

i would assume the position requires a stats background. it likely a back/mid office roll looking at the risk of that the firm is exposed to through their business dealings with their clients.
I met with prime risk people. Generally the people there were solid math people trying to fiure out counterparty risk using var based models
so apart from brushing up on basic stats and probability is there anything else i can do to prepare? it's only a 30 min interview so i figured some of it will be behavioral too.. what about brainteasers? thankss
