Rothschilds Rx team in the states is one of the best groups at the firm. Very good culture, as good of a WLB as can be given how busy the current Rx world is. Base Compensation close to or in line with other EB’s. Bonuses were alright this past year.

They’re def not like your PJT / HL / EVR but are still competitive in the space. Exits are decent.

I would double check this via LinkedIn, but I think some have gone to Oaktree. Few to MF / UMM / MM PE. A handful also end up staying on as associates as well so if you're looking for a long term career in banking Rothschild is a great place to be.

With that said if you're good enough you can make it to great places with enough networking, prep, and luck. If you want to maximize your odds of elite exits, PJT / HL / EVR / LAZ / MOE would be better options.

Good team good culture from what I’ve heard and spoken with — they were better before the exodus that happened a few years back though. Mr.Snyder who facilitated the fire sale of SVB assets recently for the FDIC was actually co-head at Rothschild Rx but left to do his own thing at TRS, which got acquired by Piper. Rothschild should likely have many respectable seniors left that can give you good recs down the road.

Very strong in Europe fwiw, at least from the standpoint of engagement count. Not at rth but see them often on the other side
