Rothschild vs Harris Williams

If the goal is middle market PE afterwards, which will give me the best options as well as training ground to become a good investor. Talking about Rothschild Global Advisory, not RX.

Placing at a MF is almost impossible. Even analysts at GS and Evercore end up in the LMM because of how competitive recruiting is. MM / UMM funds are still very difficult to get

Work at one and have friends at the other, both are good banks. If you know you want to stay in banking I would go Rothschild, they’re more supportive of a2a. Hw doesn’t really have many a2a, ~95% leave to buyside. Culture at both is pretty good, but the types of people they attract are pretty different. If you’re not set on staying for a2a would honestly choose based on where you feel that you fit in best, both will give you similar opportunities assuming you’re a strong performer
