RX Consulting -> RX IB?
New here - anyone know how feasible it is to lateral from an RX advisory shop (consulting) to an analyst role in IB? 1 YOE
Graduated from a respectable west coast school (cal/ucla/usc), but worried that 3.2gpa takes me out of the running at all. Strong leadership, extracurriculars in college & interview landed me the current gig
Any advice appreciated
With substantial networking it’s certainly possible. It’ll help if you’ve had high quality experience (which may be a miss if you’re only one year in given the volume of restructuring activity lately).
I would just your leave gpa off of your resume, people will not care enough to ask since you’re out of college and have work experience.
