The ~$40 hourly rate is the pro-rated rate. Base salary of 85K / 52 weeks / 40 hrs = $40.87.
Not sure about BMO, but most banks pay OT at 0.5 hourly, or ~$20 per hour.
Is it bad to report overtime as an intern? The bank I'm interning at next summer has 1.5x for overtime, do people actually report this, or is it looked down upon? Would it make it look like you're just in it for the money and effect chances of getting a return offer?
