Just wanted to hear other people's thoughts on how the current tariff craziness might affect return offer rates for IB analysts this summer...

Not looking good unless you are going to GS/EVR/CVP/MOE/PJT/PWP type firm known to have had high return offer rates even during the turbulent times. You can search this forum, and see i. if the bank you are heading to had recent layoffs ii. had lower return rates during COVID. If your bank fits into any of the two categories, likely will have lower return offer rates.
