Their postings have been from leveraged finance, and P&U which is scotia’s best team by far. Their P&U team has high turnover. From what I’ve heard, the culture is great from a junior to VP level but the seniors are very toxic. However, deal flow is very very strong.

Heard nothing about leveraged finance team, but it makes sense why they’re growing in this environment, seems like it’s more of an economic driver versus Scotia themselves growing (opportunistic entry).
