I just got that invite too, I'm pretty sure they do this every cycle (basically a pre-first round screen)

Anyone get first round yet?
For anyone curious about the fireside + networking session:
~60 students, 10-15 bankers from diff teams and roles
Starts with a 30-45 min fireside chat with 4 senior senior bankers
Then a networking session for ~1hr, can talk to recruiters and bankers
When speaking to the recruiters they said ~30 move on to 1st round, around 8-12 hires from the session. Bankers and recruiters put names forward for 1st rounds
Do you know how many rounds for the process?
No but with other banks its been 2 after pre screen with HR or one-way interview, so technically 3 total
Got the session invite but couldn't attend because wasn't physically in the province at the time (did let them know) - am I cooked?
Idk but probably isn't a dealbreaker, but recruiter mentioned this, even said one guy flew down lol
