Separate email account for networking? Email signature necessary for college student?
Just read an M and I article suggesting that one should make a separate email account for networking exclusively- are there any downsides to this? Also, is there any point for a college student to have an e-mail signature?
Thanks
I prefer seeing a university email so I know the student is legit. Signatures can make you look more polished (if done properly), but I think the email itself is more important.
For the email signature you can search “free email signature” and a lot of great resources will come up. That’s how I did mine, and I think it just adds a nice professional touch.
