Basically what the title suggest want to take a shot in the dark, built out a full model and deck for a company investment thesis, company/industry overview, thesis, dcf, comps and precedents and put in the company colour palette. Is it stupid to send over to the hiring manager I figure it can go one of two ways, 1. They like it and ask to speak more 2. They tell me to get lost.
